T1D Fund

T1D Fund is a Boston-based venture philanthropy fund and wholly owned subsidiary of Breakthrough T1D that invests charitable capital in early-stage biotech companies developing cure-oriented and disease-modifying therapies for type 1 diabetes. It co-invests with venture capital firms and biopharma companies, can act as a co-lead investor, and recycles returns back into its mission. The fund is most relevant for US life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical and HealthTech startups aligned with type 1 diabetes or autoimmune disease approaches.
