State Development and Investment Corporation (SDIC) is an economic development agency based in Beijing, China. Established in 1995, SDIC is a state-owned company which invests in coal mining, power generation projects, coal transportation, goods and materials trade, ports and shipping project operations among others. The agency also provides economic support and financial help to other companies in the same local region. The assets of the firm are governed by the executive management team.State Development and Investment Corporation's investment portfolio is valued at over RMB 1 trillion, with investments in private equity.
