Spider Management Company (SMC) is an endowment investment corporation based in Richmond, Virginia. Founded in 2001, the firm provides investment management services to endowments and foundations, one of which is the University of Richmond. As the investment office for the University, the mission of Spider Management is to provide superior investment performance and service, enabling the partners and the University of Richmond to realize their valued missions. The assets of the firm are managed by the executive management team.
