Description
South Dakota School and Public Lands Fund is a government agency based in Pierre, South Dakota. The agency is a permanent trust fund established by the South Dakota Constitution for the use and maintenance of public schools in the state. Its objective is to provide a distribution of income to the common schools (K-12) on a per-student basis each year, provide a distribution of income to the schools of higher education, and promote the inflation-adjusted growth of the fund through the constitutionally-mandated CPI adjustment.
