Singapore Management University (SMU Endowment) manages an endowment fund which is based in Singapore, Singapore. The endowment fund comprises of donations, grants, gifts, testamentary disposition and proceeds from gifts of movable or immovable property. The objective of the fund include the provision of facilities for teaching, training and research, the advancement and dissemination of knowledge and the promotion of research. The assets of the endowment fund are managed by the board of trustees. The board is further assisted by the investment committee to manage the invested assets.Singapore Management University Endowment's investment portfolio is valued at SGD1.61 billion, with investments in domestic and international equity, fixed income, private equity and cash.
