Seattle Art Museum (SAM) is an independent non-profit private foundation based in Seattle, Washington. The foundation was established in 1933 with Fuller's Asian art holdings to promote and cultivate fine arts, which includes acquiring and exhibiting paintings, sculptures and other works of art providing lectures and art education.
