It also provides primary and master servicing to investors in its residential mortgage loans and securitizations, offers collateralized lines of credit to other originators of loans, holds a portfolio of residential mortgage loans for investment and retained interests from its securitization activities, conducts banking activities through its GMAC Bank, and provides real estate services. In addition, the company provides financing and equity capital to residential land developers and homebuilders, as well as financing to resort developers.
