Rand Merchant Bank (RMB) is a banking institution based in Sandton, South Africa. Established in 1977, the bank offers its clients advisory, funding, trading, corporate banking and principal investing solutions. RMB is a corporate and investment bank that has funded several infrastructure and resource finance projects, mergers and acquisitions, and infrastructure developments in many African countries over the past decade. It operates as the investment banking arm of FirstRand Bank. It has representative offices and branches in the UK, India, China and the Middle East. The assets of the bank are managed by the executive management team.
