Railway Pension Scheme is a union pension scheme based in Darlington, the U.K. Established in 1994, RPS offers retirement, death, disability, and coverage services to the retired railway employees in London. Railways Pension Trustee Company Limited (the Trustee Company) is the trustee of the Railways Pension Scheme. The RPS is divided into the 1994 Pensioners Section, Shared Cost Arrangement, Defined Benefit Arrangement, Defined Contribution Arrangement, Omnibus Section and Industry-Wide Defined Contribution Section. The assets are governed and managed by the Trustee Board. Railway Pension Investments (RPMI) looks after all administration and trustee services for the Railways Pension Scheme (RPS). BNY Mellon serves as custodian.
