Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) is an economic development agency based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Established in 2000 as an independent agency of the Commonwealth to administer Pennsylvania's economic stimulus packages. It holds fiduciary responsibility for the funding of programs and investments in Pennsylvania's economic growth, including the Ben Franklin Technology Development Authority and New Pennsylvania Venture Capital Investment Program. Assets are governed by separately organized boards.Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development's investment portfolio is valued at over $38 million., with investments in private equity and cash.
