One Liberty Properties

One Liberty Properties Inc was incorporated in Maryland on December 20, 1982. It is a self-administered and self-managed real estate investment trust, also known as a REIT. It acquires, owns and manages a geographically diversified portfolio of retail, industrial, flex, health and fitness, and other properties, a substantial portion of which are under long-term leases. Substantially all of its leases are net leases and ground leases under which the tenant is typically responsible for real estate taxes, insurance and ordinary maintenance and repairs. The Company owns approximately 110 properties and participates in joint ventures that own five properties. The Company faces competition for the acquisition of properties from a variety of investors, including domestic and foreign corporations and real estate companies, financial institutions, insurance companies, pension funds, investment funds, other REITs and individuals.
