Newport News Employees Retirement Fund

Newport News Employees Retirement Fund (NNERF) is a single-employer, defined benefit, public pension fund based in Newport News, Virginia. The fund was established to provide pension benefits for employees of the local government, including the non-professional employees of the Newport News School System. The plan also provides other post-employment benefits (OPEB) for City retirees. The plan is administered by the City of Newport News and it provides retirement and pension benefit to the employees of the local government. The Board of Trustees is responsible for the administration of the fund.
