New Mexico State Investment Council (New Mexico SIC) is a sovereign wealth fund based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Established in 1957, the purpose of the state investment program is to manage the state's permanent funds for the citizens of New Mexico in order to maximize distributions to the state's operating budget while preserving the real value of the funds for the future generations of New Mexicans. The council manages two endowments, the Land Grant Permanent Fund, and the Severance Tax Permanent Fund. The assets are managed by the committee members and council members.
