Michigan Rise

Michigan Rise is an East Lansing, Michigan-based venture capital firm and subsidiary of the Michigan State University Research Foundation that backs Michigan technology startups with early-stage venture funding and purchase order financing. It invests in the United States, with a focus on pre-seed and seed-stage companies across software, IT, healthtech, fintech, cleantech, life sciences, hardware, mobility, manufacturing, agriculture and other technology sectors, and supports founders with coaching, grant assistance and access to Michigan’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
