It makes strategic investments from a $300 million balance-sheet fund in venture and expansion-stage companies building new technology ecosystems, with relevance to semiconductors, hardware, IoT, telecommunications, AI and consumer electronics. The firm invests globally, including in the United States, and supports startups through MediaTek’s technology relationships, market research and R&D resources.
