Massachusetts Port Authority Employees Retirement System

Massachusetts Port Authority Employees' Retirement System (MPAERS) is a single-employer public pension fund based in East Boston, Massachusetts. Established in 1978, MPAERS provides Massport employees and their beneficiaries with secure retirement, survivor, and disability benefits to all employees of the Massachusetts Port Authority. MPAERS is administered by a five-member board consisting of one ex-officio member, two elected members, one member appointed by Massport and one member appointed by the four other board members.
