LGPS is a nationwide pension scheme for people working in local government or working for other types of an employer participating in the Scheme. The Scheme is administered locally for participating employers through 90 regional pension funds which are responsible for investments.Local Government Pension Scheme is is not currently invested in venture capital or private equity.
