Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) is an economic development agency based in Kuwait City, Kuwait. Established in 1961, the agency provides grants for technical assistance and provides other types of technical assistance, contributes to international and regional development finance institutions and other development institutions, and funds the representation of the State of Kuwait. It provides technical advice regarding the technical aspects, financial, economic, and legal projects or development programs or policies or in the provision of assistance in the field of development. The agency takes an active role in the international development efforts and extends loans on a concessionary term to finance development projects in the developing countries. Kuwait Fund also provides technical assistance to finance the costs of the feasibility studies of projects, as well as the training of nationals of the borrowing countries. In addition, the agency subscribes to the capital of international and regional development institutions.
