Koffler prefers venture-capital-backed companies in the metropolitan Los Angeles region. founding member of the Tech CEO Network, and on the executive committee of the Tech Coast Angels. He was president of the Los Angeles Venture Association and the Technology Council of Southern California. Koffler is also on the advisory boards of the California Emerging Technology Fund, the Center for Technology Commercialization at the University of Southern California, and the Wells Fargo Center for Small Business and Entrepreneurship at the College of Business and Economics at California State University, Northridge.
