Kansas City Police Retirement System (KCPERS) is a single-employer, contributory, defined benefit public pension fund based in Kansas City, Missouri. Established in 1946 by the State of Missouri's General Assembly, KCPERS provides retirement, disability and death benefits for the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department's officers, civilian employees, retirees and their beneficiaries. The plan is administered by the Retirement Board of the Police Retirement System of Kansas City.
