JRE Ventures is the corporate venture capital arm of JR East, based in Singapore, investing around railway-station touchpoints and JR East’s network to develop new businesses. It backs startups in Southeast Asia and Japan, with focus areas including advertising, retail and e-commerce, logistics, and infrastructure-adjacent technologies. The firm has acted as a lead investor at Series A and has investment exposure to AI-enabled drones, automation and PropTech.
