Joseph Rowntree Foundation

Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF) is an independent non-profit private foundation based in York, United Kingdom. Established in 1904, the foundation focuses on three areas including poverty, place and ageing society. The foundation seeks to search out the underlying causes of poverty and inequality and identifies solutions through research and learning from experience and demonstrate solutions by developing and running services, stewardship of land and buildings. The assets of the foundation are managed by the executive management team.
