Japan Energy Fund

Japan Energy Fund is a Tokyo-based venture capital fund investing in growth and later-stage climate tech and decarbonization companies across North America, Europe and Japan, especially startups that can scale in the Japanese market. It typically invests $1-3M per company, does not take a lead role, and focuses on energy transition areas including grid decarbonization, carbon removal, transport electrification, energy storage, geothermal and demand-response technologies.
