Jane Street is a New York-based quantitative trading and financial institution that also makes direct private-market investments. It backs companies from seed through later-stage venture rounds, including AI, computing infrastructure, cloud, semiconductors, developer tools and energy, and has acted as a lead or co-lead investor in selected financings. Its investment activity spans the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, Hong Kong, Singapore and the Netherlands.
