Idemitsu Ventures is Idemitsu Kosan’s corporate venture capital arm, based in Basel, investing in startups developing low-carbon energy and advanced materials technologies. Its focus includes clean ammonia, hydrogen, next-generation fuels, biomass, green chemicals and lubricants, negative emissions, bio-life, electrification and ICT, with relevant exposure to wastewater treatment, water and carbon-removal themes across Switzerland, Japan, Australia, Germany, South Africa and the United States.
