IDB Invest

Inter-American Investment (IIC) is an economic development agency based in Washington, District of Columbia. Established in 1986, IIC is a member of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Group and promotes private sector development in Latin America and the Caribbean with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It helps companies streamline management processes and provide them with financing in the form of equity investments, loans, and guarantees. IIC's mission is to promote economic development in its regional developing member countries by fostering the establishment, expansion, and modernization of private enterprises in a manner that complements the activities of the IDB. IIC is managed and administered by the board of governors.IDB Invest's investment portfolio is valued at over $12.08 billion, with investments to domestic and international equity, fixed income, alternatives, and cash.
