Hawaii Technology Development Venture (HTDV)

Hawaii Technology Development Venture (HTDV) is a program of the Pacific International Center for High Technology Research (PICHTR), funded by the Office of Naval Research (ONR), that utilizes the capabilities of Hawaii-based small businesses and research institutions to develop and commercialize dual-use technologies with applications for both military and civilian markets. The program provides funding, technical assistance, and partnership facilitation to help small technology companies in Hawaii advance innovative technologies from the research stage to commercial viability. HTDV targets technology areas aligned with defense research priorities while also promoting economic development and technology commercialization in the Hawaiian islands.
