Haniel Stiftung is an independent non-profit foundation based in Duisburg, Germany. Established in 1988, the foundation supports young leaders in international scholarship programmes. Haniel Stiftung promotes individuals who wish to have an impact on the shape of the future by exploring new avenues with courage and a sense of vision. They champion value-oriented entrepreneurship and support educationally disadvantaged children and adolescents and especially promising up-and-coming managers. It operates as a subsidiary of Franz Haniel & Cie.
