Government Superannuation Fund (GSF) is a multi employer corporate pension fund based in Wellington, New Zealand. Established in 1948, the fund provides a way for state sector employees to save for their retirement. Contributors make regular contributions to the fund and in return, on retirement, receive a defined level of income. The pension funds is managed by the Government Superannuation Fund Authority who invest the fund on a prudent and commercial basis to maximizes the fund's return.
