Frontier Capital Management (Frontier) is a wealth management firm based in Boston, Massachusetts. Established in 1980, Frontier provides investment management services to institutional and individual clients. In 2000, Frontier became an affiliate of Affiliated Managers Group. Under this ownership arrangement, AMG has a majority interest in Frontier, with the remaining ownership interest held broadly among Frontier employees. Frontier employees control all of the firm's management and the investment process. The assets of the firm are managed and governed by the executive management team.
