Although the firm has no regional limitation, the firm focuses its resources in Florida and in the Eastern U.S. The firm believes businesses located in these regions have been largely under-served by the private equity industry, especially those companies with capital needs of $100,000 to $5 million. Florida Technology Partners seeks companies with an experienced and entrepreneurial management team (with a meaningful equity stake); a large or rapidly expanding market opportunity; and proprietary, defensible and sustainable technological advantage.
