Financial Investments Corporation (FIC) is a money management firm based in Chicago, Illinois. Established in 1967 by Harrison Steans, the privately-owned asset management holding company invests in equity and fixed income markets. The firm was formed for the purpose of acquiring the Hyde Park Bank & Trust Company. In 2007, FIC combined operations with Concentric Equity Partners (CEP) in order to increase the focus on making direct investments into private companies. The assets of the firm are managed by the executive management team.
