Expa was founded in 2013 by Garrett Camp to build companies. Camp founded the internet site Stumple Upon, as well as the mobile car service app Uber. Expa's goal is to develop new products, systems and services, and forms teams to scale them as independent entities. With Expa, Camp expects to invest in companies with a focus on making mobile apps around media, location, data analytics, smartphones, and sensors.
