Founded in 1999, Entrepia manages VC funds that invest in early to expansion-stage, technology-based, private companies with at least a beta product and high potential for Japanese market penetration. The Entrepia Venture Fund invests in companies in the IT, communications and electronics industries, focusing on the following areas: networking (either wireline or wireless), security, storage and others, in the forms of software, hardware, semiconductor or component. The firm has offices in Silicon Valley, Japan and Canada.
