Engine Ventures is a venture capital firm dedicated to hard tech and industrial innovation, including robotics, advanced manufacturing, climate infrastructure, and deep engineering systems. Engine Ventures typically invests at seed and Series A, but only when there is a credible technical breakthrough and a realistic path to industrial deployment. The firm is highly relevant for founders building engineering-heavy products with long development cycles and is not suitable for fast-iteration SaaS, consumer apps, or marketing-driven startups. Pitching Engine without serious technical depth or defensible engineering is usually unproductive.
