Elcano Capital was formed in 2009. It brought together a group of highly experienced individuals who shared a view that venture capital could be approached in a different way, in particular when it came to early stage investments. It is acknowledged by Government, academics and others that venture capital is a driver of innovation and that start up and high growth companies contribute significantly to the nation's economic prosperity.
