European Innovation Council Fund is the venture arm of the European Innovation Council, providing equity investment through the EIC Accelerator and STEP call to high-risk deep tech startups and scale-ups. It invests across early and later-stage venture rounds, typically as minority equity stakes, and has participated in syndicated rounds and acted as a co-lead investor. The fund focuses on Europe and Horizon Europe markets, with observed activity including Israel, and backs sectors including deep tech, climate and energy, semiconductors, AI, biotechnology, medical devices, space, mobility and advanced manufacturing. Investments range from €0.5M to €30M.
