EIC Fund

EIC Fund is the European Innovation Council’s public investment fund, backed by the European Commission with investment advice from the European Investment Bank. It provides equity and quasi-equity capital to high-risk deep tech startups and SMEs across the European Union, Horizon Europe countries and Israel, with staged financing from seed through later-stage rounds. The fund backs sectors including deep tech, AI hardware, semiconductors, space, medical devices, biotechnology, energy, climate and food technology, with investments ranging from €500,000 to €30 million through EIC Accelerator and STEP Scale Up programs.
