DNB Life Insurance (formally Vital Forsikring) is an insurance company located in Oslo, Norway. It is a privately owned life and pension insurance company which was merged with Gjensidige NOR Spareforsikring in 2004. Vital's guiding philosophy is to seek to develop, sell and provide insurance and savings products to companies, public enterprises, local authorities, associations and individual clients. Vital operates as a subsidiary of DNB, which is a financial services group based in Norway. The assets of DNB Life Insurance are managed and administered by the board of directors.
