Dalian Wanda Group is a Chinese conglomerate and is a real estate investor and developer of leisure and entertainment properties in China. Its Wanda Commercial Properties subsidiary develops Wanda Plazas, a chain of about 50 mixed-use developments that feature shopping malls, hotels, movie theaters, arcades, and apartments. It operates almost 30 luxury hotels under various international brands, including Hilton, Hyatt, Sheraton, Sofitel, and Westin. In addition, Wanda Group owns about 50 Superstar karaoke bars, 40 Van's department stores, and its chain of Wanda Cinema movie theaters offer IMAX screens. Wanda Group was founded in 1988. The company seeks to expand it's global presence through acquisitions.
