Dalai Lama Foundation

The Foundation was established in 2002, with the Dalai Lama’s endorsement and advice, by a core founding group including long-time friends of the Dalai Lama and members of the Silicon Valley business community. A letter from His Holiness invites all to join us in our work. Participation is open to all, and we warmly welcome anyone who wishes to support the Dalai Lama’s vision for a better world to join with us. The foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization, with a board of directors and paid and volunteer staff. The foundation is international in scope with our circle of friends from many countries around the world such as India, Nigeria, Canada, Russia, Sweden and the United Kingdom. Our physical headquarters is in Redwood City, California, USA.
