Dakwakada Capital Investments is a Wealth Management Firm based in Whitehorse, Yukon. Established in the year 1989, its mission is to become a firm that generates wealth, opportunities, and capacity for the citizens of Champagne and Aishihik First Nations. The name change from Dakwakada Development Corporation to Dakwakada Capital Investments Inc. represented a change in focus from a traditional development corporation to a private equity firm targeting investment opportunities within and beyond the Yukon and Dakwakada Capital Investments Inc. was changed to Dakwakada Capital Investments L.P. following the successful conversion to a Limited Partnership in 2017. The assets are managed by its board of directors.
