CureDuchenne Ventures is the Newport Beach-based venture philanthropy and investment arm of CureDuchenne, backing early-stage U.S. biotechnology, life sciences and pharmaceutical companies developing therapies for Duchenne muscular dystrophy and related genetic diseases. It deploys grants, loans and equity financing into dystrophin-restoring, anti-inflammatory, gene therapy, exon-skipping and platform approaches, with proceeds from equity positions reinvested into next-generation research. Its activity includes Series A and Series B financings, and supported companies include Sarepta Therapeutics and Shape Therapeutics.
