CRP Companhia de ParticipacAues is a private equity and venture capital firm founded on December 22, 1981 and headquartered at Avenida Soledade 550, Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, with an additional office in Florianopolis, and is recognised as a pioneer of the Brazilian private equity and venture capital industry. Across more than 35 years of operation the firm has established ten funds and divides its history into an Early-Stage Phase (1981 to 2005) and a Growth Capital Phase (2006 onward), concentrating on minority investments in small and mid-sized companies in southern and southeastern Brazil, particularly Rio Grande do Sul and SAGBPo Paulo State. The firm typically invests between USD 1.4 million and USD 35.3 million in companies with enterprise values up to approximately USD 70.68 million and sales between R$3 million and R$150 million, targeting exits within four to eight years, with sector focus spanning information technology, biotechnology, internet, and other growth industries. CRP also offers advisory services in fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructuring, and its leadership has included Partner and Director Clovis Benoni Meurer, a past president of the Brazilian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (ABVCAP).
