Credit Guarantee Corporation

Credit Guarantee Corporation (CGC) is an economic development agency based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Established in 1972, the agency's main objective is to play a developmental role in supporting the country's economic development agenda by assisting marginal but potentially viable small and medium scale enterprises (SMEs), particularly enterprises without collateral or with inadequate collateral and track record, to obtain financing from the financial institutions. The assets of the agency are managed and governed by the board of directors.Credit Guarantee Corporation's investment portfolio is valued at over MYR4.79 billion ($930 million), with investments in private equity, real estate, fixed income, and cash.
