City of Tacoma

Tacoma Employees' Retirement System (TERS) is a multiple-employer defined-benefit public pension fund based in Tacoma, Washington. Established in 1941, the cost-sharing plan covers employees of the City of Tacoma and other members of public agencies. The plan is funded by employee and employer contributions, as well as investment returns. The plan is managed by the board of administration.
