City of Riviera Beach General Employees' Retirement System

City of Riviera Beach General Employees' Retirement System (GERS) is a single-employer defined benefit Pension Fund based in Riviera Beach. GERS provides disability and retirement benefits for the participants of the plan and their eligible beneficiaries. Members include all regular full-time employees excluding members of the police and firefighters' pension plans. The plan is administered by a seven-person board, of which four members are appointed by the Mayor with approval of the City Council, and three members are elected by plan participants.
