City of Boca Raton General Employees' Pension Plan is a single-employer defined benefit public pension fund based in Boca Raton, Florida. Established in 1973, the plan provides disability, retirement, and death benefits to the participants of the plan and their eligible beneficiaries. The plan is divided into three levels of benefit, Plan A, Plan B, Plan C (based on an employee's hire date). Benefits include normal, early, disability, death, vested, termination refund, and Deferred Retirement Option Plan (DROP). The plan is administered by the eight-member board of trustees which covers regular full-time City of Boca Raton, Florida employees.
