Built By Iowa (BBI) is an early stage fund created to help talented entrepreneurs bridge the funding gap between angels and a Series A. The firm's primary focus is Iowa-based technology start-ups, but BBI will invest nationally and across any vertical when we believe in the team and the opportunity. BBI's typical investment is $50,000 to $150,000, and the firm prefers to be an entrepreneur's first non-friend/family professional equity investor. BBI will evaluate opportunities that are pre-revenue and even pre-product.
