BenefitGuard was founded by 2 Harvard Graduates who were running a Venture Capital Firm. They were looking to move into the asset management space and realized that the standard 401(k) model was broken. Plan sponsors were paying too much for a plan that required too much work and exposed them to too much fiduciary liability. BenefitGuard fixes this problem by adopting the primary fiduciary roles on behalf of the plan sponsor and bringing together some of the best service providers in the industry at rock bottom rates. Since inception, BenefitGuard has rocketed to the forefront of the industry, seeing unprecedented growth and retention.
